Meet Our Founder
Sheila Jercich previously served as a public School Psychologist and Special Education Administrator before venturing into independent practice. During her tenure of 28 years with local school districts, she identified a pressing demand for School Psychologists in the area. The gap was evident as students with unique learning needs often faced delays in receiving special education evaluations or had to join prolonged waitlists.
Recognizing this need, Sheila Jercich established SJ Signature Consulting in 2023.
As the visionary behind SJ Signature Consulting, Sheila Jercich specializes in psychoeducational assessments and reports and offers psychoeducational evaluations, consultation, team building to school districts in the state of Illinois, facing challenges in addressing the needs of students with diverse learning needs.
Over the years, she has successfully collaborated with numerous school districts, assisting in the evaluation and assessment of student Early Childhood through Transition.
Sheila Jercich is not just a School Psychologist, but also someone deeply committed to delivering culturally and comprehensively responsive services to students with diverse learning needs. Balancing her professional commitments, she's also a parent of an adult with special needs who benefited from tailored educational services from early childhood through the age of 23 when she graduated from her transition program.
